August 9, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Introduce the inventive thinking process to your students with an interdisciplinary curriculum. Through creativity and innovation, students will engage in STEM skills, including science and engineering practices, found in the Next Generation Science Standards. Participate in Invention activities to see how it all works. Take home handouts and a flash drive of lesson plans and resources to use with students in the classroom, in an enrichment program, in a grade level and/or entire school, or even in a home-school program.

Hold your own Invention Convention. Invite volunteers to judge inventions naming division winners. Winners may participate in Prodigy Northwest’s 2018 Paul G. Allen Washington Invention Convention on March 24, 2018. Everything will be covered in this seven hour (working lunch) professional development opportunity. Six Clock Hours will be available.
